Though our name is listed as the award-winner on major national home building and home remodeling competitions, we have our wonderful clients and partnering architects and designers with whom we share the credit. Donatelli Builders, Inc. was named a winner in the prestigious 31st Annual Qualified Remodeler (QR) Master Design Awards Contest. Donatelli Builders, Inc. received two awards in the 2009 competition: a gold award in the “Room Remodel” category and a silver award in the “Conservatory / Sunroom” category.

Sponsored by Qualified Remodeler magazine, the Master Design Awards is the premier national contest recognizing outstanding achievement by remodelers, architects, builders, kitchen and bath specialists and other professionals in residential remodeling projects in 22 categories. Nominees were judged on aesthetic appeal, construction techniques used, financial value of the project, functionality of space and overall impression of the project. 

Chris Donatelli, president of Donatelli Builders, Inc. was presented the awards in October 2009 in a ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Indianapolis, IN, before the start of the Remodeling Show. In 2009, Donatelli Builders, Inc. won a gold in the Constructech magazine “Vision Awards” competition. Our team won in the category of “Automated Home Technology.” The Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that have realized the advantages of applying innovative technologies to their everyday businesses as well as the technology enablers that have helped them achieve their goal. “The companies honored are truly the definition of ‘excellence’ in the construction industry. Each company has learned and benefited from the top-notch technology solutions they deploy today,” said Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine.

Donatelli Builders, Inc. won a 2009 Dream Home Award in the category of best whole-house remodel 2,500-4,000 square feet. The Dream Home Awards are presented to companies and individuals who assist in creating America's Dream Homes and set new standards of excellence in the nation’s building industry. The prestigious competition was open to interior designers, architects, builders, remodelers, communities and trade contractors from across the country.
